French Body PartsIn this lesson you will learn how to say the parts of the body in French. You will notice that most of these words are completely different than English unlike other kinds of words such as food and animals. Thus, it is kind of important to pay close attention. By learning this vocabulary list you’ll also have a good chance to improve your knowledge of known gender (masculine and feminine). Also please pay attention to the word for hair, les cheveux. This word is always written in the plural and never in the singular. Also one other word which can cause some confusion for non-native speakers is the word for hand. While at first glance it appears to be a masculine word that actually takes the female gendre, Hence, la main. The same goes for tooth, which is la dent.
