Here you will learn how to say 40 different kinds of animals in French. Click on any of the French words, listen and repeat! You’ll notice that most of the animals use the masculine gender. However, there are a few exceptions such as the word for cow (la vache). Also, a lot of the words are very similar to English so they’re pretty easy to learn. Finally, watch out for the pronunciation of l’écureuil, which means squirrel, as it’s a bit tricky.
